SIA “Geo Consultants” was established in 1997 with a staff of four people. At present our team comprises more than 40 specialists including of different branches of civil engineers, designers, planners, geologists, hydrogeologists, environmental specialists, project managers, co-ordinators.
Chronology of development of the company:
October 2019 - Integrated Management System certified according to ISO 1401:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 standards.
March 2018 – Quality management system certified according to the new international standard ISO 9001:2015.
October 2017 – Laboratory of Geo Consultants Ltd. receives LATAK accreditation.
September 2015 – Laboratory of Geo Consultants Ltd is established.
2010 – Working in accordance with the environmental management conditions stipulated in international Standard ISO 14001:2004.
2008 – Beginning of co-operation with clients abroad.
2007 – Beginning of involvement in activities of International Solid Waste Association (ISWA) (www.iswa.org).
2 June 2006 – Registered in Latvian Register of Construction companies.
2005 – Becoming of members of Latvian Chamber of Trade and Industry (www.chamber.lv).
1 September 2004 – Company’s quality management system is certified in accordance with the international Standard ISO 9001:2000.
2004 – Since Latvia joined European Union in 1 May 204 we continue to implement projects co- financed by European Union funds (ISPA, Cohesion Fund, EFRD, etc).
1997 – Company becomes a member of Latvian Association of Waste Management Enterprises (LAWME) (www.lasua.lv).
8 May 1997 – Founded company SIA „Geo Consultants” (initial name – SIA „Ģeo Konsultants”). The Company begins to work with first projects on development of environmental infrastructure using co-financing by international donors including World Bank, Scandinavian and other funding agencies.
